What:

1. Live auction of framed, matted. and numbered prints by Griffin artist Joyce Perdue Smith

2. Silent basket auction - various items including a weekend B&B package, Atlanta Falcons football tickets, an elegant tea party package and much more

Why:

To generate funds for future scholarships awarded to deserving local women attending or returning to higher education

The ABWA Iris Chapter Scholarship Fund for Women has awarded over $200,000 to date and $18,000 i he past 6 years. The chapter seeks to increase future scholarship funding.

All proceeds directly support scholarship awards.

When:

Thursday, May 2nd, 2024 from 7 pm until 9 pm

Where:

The Bailey-Tebault House, 633 Meriwether St., Griffin GA

Who:

(1) Event held by Griffin's Iris Chapter, American Business Women's Association

(2) Chaired by chapter members Betty Dean and Wanda Howell

(3 ) Event planned and staffed by the Iris Chapter membership

4) Presented by Georgia Banking Company, Cronic Automotive Group, and The Bear Radio 92.5 F

How:

(1) Tasteful evening event with silent & live auction, games, and other entertainment

(2) Ticketed event includes wine, beer, soft beverages, and heavy hors d' oeuvres

(3) Attire is cocktail or dressy business
